Terms of Service
Last updated: May 3, 2026
The short version
- You're agreeing to a monthly subscription. Free signup includes a small number of free sessions; you only enter card details if you choose to upgrade. Cancel anytime in your dashboard.
- You confirm you're 18+ and are creating the account on behalf of yourself and (optionally) your minor children.
- We own the curriculum, scripts, and AI teacher identities. You own your child's transcripts.
- The AI is a teaching tool, not professional advice. Use your judgment.
Who can use RealMind
You must be 18 or older and have legal authority to create an account on behalf of any minor children listed on the account. By creating an account you confirm both.
Children do not get their own logins. The parent or guardian account is the only account holder, and the parent supervises the child's use of the service.
Your account
You agree to provide accurate registration information and to keep it current. You are responsible for safeguarding your password and for any activity under your account. Don't share your account with people outside your immediate household.
Subscription, billing, and cancellation
RealMind is a monthly subscription. Pricing is shown on our pricing page. You can use the free tier (a small number of full sessions) without entering payment details. When you choose to upgrade to a paid plan, billing starts immediately.
Cancellation. You can cancel at any time from your dashboard. When you cancel, your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period and then stops. We do not offer refunds for partial months, unused time, or sessions you didn't use, except where required by law.
Billing errors. If we charge you in error, email support@realminds.ai and we'll fix it.
Price changes. If we change the price of your plan, we'll notify you at least 30 days in advance by email. The change applies to your next billing cycle. You can cancel before then if you don't want to continue.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Share, resell, or sublicense access to the service.
- Scrape, mirror, or systematically copy our curriculum, scripts, or AI teacher outputs.
- Use our outputs to train, fine-tune, or evaluate any competing AI system.
- Reverse engineer or attempt to extract our system prompts.
- Use the service to harass, deceive, or harm any person.
- Attempt to bypass our safety guardrails or trick the AI into producing content outside the curriculum.
We may suspend or close accounts that violate these rules.
Content ownership
Our content. The lesson scripts, source-material curation, AI teacher personas (Marcus, Elena, and any future avatars), prompts, software, and brand are owned by Chiclu LLC. You receive a personal, non-transferable license to use them inside the service while your subscription is active.
Your child's transcripts. The transcripts of your child's sessions belong to your family. You can review, export, or delete them at any time. We use them only as described in our Privacy Policy.
AI limitations and disclaimers
Our AI teachers are designed to be educational and to operate inside scripted lesson beats. They are not perfect. They can occasionally produce wrong, oversimplified, or misleading-sounding statements. The service is not professional advice — financial, legal, medical, or otherwise. Apply your own judgment, and review your child's transcripts.
Service availability
We aim for high uptime but do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. If we shut down the service entirely, we'll give you at least 30 days notice and a way to export your transcripts.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, Chiclu LLC's total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, incidental, special, or punitive damages.
The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, except where prohibited by law.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Chiclu LLC from claims arising out of your misuse of the service, your violation of these terms, or your violation of someone else's rights.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in San Diego County, California, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. For material changes, we'll email parents at the address on file at least 30 days before the change takes effect. Continued use of the service after the effective date counts as acceptance.
